It would be helpful to display the Wireshark version in the main window's title
bar. It often hard for developers and those who run multiple versions (due to
customizations, bugs in certain versions, and the need ID the std vs. dev
versions).
This can be implemented by expanding the prefs.gui_version_in_start_page pref
to include include this function or by adding a new preference such as
'prefs.gui_version_in_title_bar'. I'll upload a patch that expands the
existing pref but I also have a patch that adds a new pref that I can upload if
requested.
