Does this work if you also have a custom window title, i.e., "Edit ->
preferences -> Layout -> Custom window title (prepended to existing titles):"?
In my testing with SVN 33636 on Windows XP SP3, it doesn't seem to ever display
the version. I tried clearing the custom window title, but the version still
wasn't displayed. I don't know, maybe it's completely unrelated and there's a
different reason for it not being displayed.
