Windows XP SP2 on Dell with Pentium 4 1.99GHz, 512MB Ram

Ethereal 0.10.8

WinPcap 3.1 beta4

Do;

Edit/Preferences

          Get Error dialog [sure would be nice to be able to copy/ paste L]:

          ** ERROR **: file shape.c: line 75 (pango_shape): assertion failed: (glyphs->num_glyphs > 0) aborting…

Press OK and get:

          Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

          Runtime Error!

          Program C:\Program Files\Ethereal\ethereal.exe

          This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.

          Please contact the application’s support team for more information.

 

Press OK and Ethereal exits.
