What do you mean by one half? Only one direction, but not the other one? 

Are you sure that the other direction appears in the main window?
If not, you don't have a problem with "Follow TCP stream" but with
capturing.

I have the same problem, and according to the FAQ it can be caused by
VPN software installed on the machine doing the capturing. (I have indeed
VPN software installed.)
