I don't know.  The version we're using allegedly has an API close to
that of GLib 1.2[.x]/GTK+ 1.2[.x], even though it has some 1.3 code;
however, I think the current Windows GLib and GTK+ are 2.0-based, and
there might be API changes that would cause Ethereal not to work.
