Hi Mike,

I was wondering what you did to get that to work. You might
remember that I am trying to add support for RSVP conversations, and
was facing a similar problem. If you could send me your diffs, or
an explanation of what exactly you had to do, that would be really
helpful. Thanks!

Manu

I recently figured out how to add tapping to a dissector after reading the README.tapping instructions (lines 28-55). Pretty simple stuff and it seems that every dissector should do this.

It occurred to me that I would have added tapping to my dissector right from the start if tapping had been part of the skeleton sample.

Any opinions about including or not including tapping as part of the skeleton which is in section 1.2 of README.developer?

If there's no objection I will amend the skeleton with tapping calls, add a few notes of explanation and direct towards README.tapping and README.stats_tree for more info.

Mike
