| Beware though, the licence agreement of VC7 and VC.NET or whatever it
calls
| it does NOT allow you to compile GPL code.

Last time I tried I got everything to compile.

ethereal will run and capture but you can't open or save files since
some bits (the stuff precompiled downloaded from the dev page) use the
VC6 DLLs and some the VC7 ones and that will never work.

tethereal works.

Shame about the licensing though.

| So i assume few etehreal developers are actively looking into VC7 issues.
| ( i mean whgats the point, you may not even compile ethereal

|
| If you want to be allowed to compile ethereal using that compiler i guess
| you should complain to microsoft.

| Anyone compiled packet-rtps using Microsoft compilers? int8/32_t are not
| valid in VC7, and I would assume the same for VC6 though I have not tried
| it, so all the typedefs are bad in the header. Am I missing a file
| somewhere?
