I don't have any objection to the header file being there, so if you need some
information from it, by all means, let's keep it. It just doesn't make sense
to put a whole bunch of stuff in that file that is only used in one .c file
(e.g., there's no need to declare a static copy of each of those value_strings
in each C module that includes the header).
Feel free to submit a patch--that way you'll be sure the new header includes
what you need.
