In display filters, the "matches" operator doesn't properly match regular
expressions that include hex codes with A-F. for example:

data matches "\x01\x02\x03"

works fine. however...

data matches "\xfe\xfe\x68"

does not work -- any time you include a \xHH where HH contains letters A-F
instead of numbers 0-9, it doesn't match.
