WinPcap 4.1.2 is scheduled for inclusion in 1.4.0rc2 and 1.2.10.
"Re-issuing" the current installers would result in packages with identical
names installing different things on your system. It would also invalidate the
published digest values, e.g.
http://www.wireshark.org/download/SIGNATURES-1.2.9.txt. Is there some reason I
should introduce confusion and uncertainty when you can just download WinPcap
4.1.2 from winpcap.org and install it?
