Oooh, yes, yucky.

I just tested your premise out on my Windows 7 1.8.0 install. I set it for multiple files every 100KB, and with the options you did. It crashed after 34 files.

I upgraded to release 1.8.0  and I noticed, when I capture into files and deselect the options  “Update list of packets in real time” and “Hide capture info dialog”  Wireshark crashes to desktop after a couple of files… Someone else noticed the same ? I could open a bug  there isn’t one already opened…
