Hello Michael,

I had a look at the capture file, and have to say that the packets have a bogus ISUP multipart entity: the ISUP payload is dissected as an HTTP (or SIP or MIME) *header*, as the separation between header and body is lacking. This separation is an empty line, like can be seen in the 1st entity representing the SDP payload.

Best regards,

Olivier

Hi,

I have encoded a SIP INFO message which has an ISUP payload (IAM) within
it. Ethereal can extract the contents of the message as expected. However
when I attempt to code an IAM within an SIP INVITE the contents of the ISUP
message is not extracted in the same form as for the INFO, the data is
presented but not extracted into an ISUP form. The content of the data is
identical for both messages.

Is Ethereal capable of extracting the ISUP data within an INVITE and what
form is it expecting?

(See attached file: SIP-INFO-IAM.gif)(See attached file: SIP+IAM.gif)

Regards and thanks.

Mike
