Wireshark · Ethereal-users: [Ethereal-users] Crash when click Edit->Preferences (Ethereal 0.10.5 and 0.10.6)

Edit->Preferences always causes crash and leaves error message in console:

 

ethereal.exe:1428): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: file gobject.c: line 1561 (g_obje

** (ethereal.exe:1428): CRITICAL **: file pango-engine.c: line 68 (_pango_engine

and below error message in pop-up window:

** ERROR **: file shape.c: line 75 (pango_shape): assertion failed: (glyphs->num_glyphs > 0)
aborting...

 

All other funktion are ok except the Edit->Preferences

 

This issue happens on my PC run Windows XP Prof. SP1 

 

i have tryed both version (0.10.5 and 0.10.6), same error.
