That's what I meant by "change".  If you want that, you will have to
change the code (and figure out where to change it - I don't have time
to give a tutorial on that), and maintain that change indefinitely in
your own private version of Ethereal because, as I noted, personal color
filter files don't belong in a system-wide directory.

However, as noted, if you just want to have a global color file, you
don't have to change any code.  See Richard Urwin's mail.
