Hello Glen,

Thanks.
Actually I do have the MIBs you mention included.

A good place to start is..

For instance you may need to load the MIBs shown here
http://bit.ly/3x3NfB
such as

SNMPv2-SMI
SNMPv2-TC
SNMPv2-CONF
CISCO-SMI
INET-ADDRESS-MIB
SNMP-FRAMEWORK-MIB
CISCO-SYSLOG-MIB

Thanks Glenn,

I did have CISCO-BGP4-MIB in the smi_modules files.
But when I use the smi_modules file you supplied it works!
Thanks.

I now have a similar problem with CISCO-SYSLOG-MIB that is in smi_modules
file, but does not decode traps for me.

Suggestions most welcome!

Tony

Hello,

I have quite a number of traps displayed as ciscoMgmt.187.
However a google reveals 187 refers to CISCO-BGP4-MIB and this MIB is in
the wireshark/snmp/mibs and when wireshark is started I dont see any errors.
Obviously I have not quiet mastered the art of loading mibs.
Hints on how to proceed anyone?

TIA

Tony
