Hello all,

last week I installed Wireshark on my Lenovo T61 with Win XP SP2. WS worked fine, but I was no longer able to connect to the Internet using my browser. After this I removed WS. Then I had to disable and enable my network card so that I could attach the internet again.

The only problem I have at the moment is that I can not connect to the internet via my Option modem card using UMTS/GPRS. When I try to connect I receive an error 720 which tells me about an error in the PPP area but everything seem to be installed (TCP/IP etc.).

Something must have happend during install/remove of WS. Does anybody know if there were files removed or changed which are no longer available now? What can I do without reinstalling XP?

Thanks in advance.

Yours

John
