I checked your proposed workaround, but unfortunately the order in my PATH is
already "C:\cygwin64\bin;C:\Program Files (x86)\Git\bin;" and this does not
solve the issue.
Currently I renamed the "echo" file in Git's directory, but this is an ugly
workaround.
I agree with you, that this is probably not a bug in Wireshark itself, but
maybe it's possible to modify the build process or document this issue
somewhere.
