Thanks for the quick correction Guy!
The DLT_USER dissector we have is for a proprietary product and the captures
are actually from a serial data stream - the first 12 bytes represent the UART
state and various other signalling information. The remaining payload is
whatever protocol happens to be in the serial data stream and is typically an
industrial protocol such as DNP3 or Modbus. Since we cannot be guaranteed of
what protocol is present in the serial data stream, I'm OK with using the
DLT_USER configuration to get things going.
