This was discussed on the Q&A site:

http://ask.wireshark.org/questions/3013/wireshark-consumes-100-percent-cpu-while-feed-h323-protocol-data-using-pipe-when-only-single-one-cpu-on-client

I can (directly, e.g., with File->Open) open this file fine on 1.4.4 and the
current trunk. As mentioned on the Q&A site, the fact that you're talking
about reading from a pipe and the fact that you're on Windows suggests that
this is bug 5309.

Does this problem happen when you do NOT read from a pipe?

Does this problem happen with the latest version (1.4.4)?
