The problem is that the sflow payload is not a PPP frame but PPP in HDLC-like
framing, yet sflow doesn't seem to be able to distinguish between them. From
http://www.sflow.org/sflow_version_5.txt, PPP is listed as being protocol 7.
But is that really PPP or PPP in HDLC-like framing? If it's for both, then
sflow needs to decide which to call. I don't know enough about sflow to know
what the correct solution should be and I can't find any more details at
sflow.org.
