The detecting of the AVDTP channel type from counting the L2CAP channels
established with the AVDTP PSM is not really working well. Try e.g. the capture
file I have attached to bug 2106. In case a stream is not opened or multiple
streams are opened on a single signaling channel it will not detect the channel
type correctly.
I think this bug should not deal with AVDTP but only L2CAP based on the bug
title. I agree that the reuse of CIDs for multiple protocols can confuse
wireshark dissection and I it would be nice to have that solved. I haven't yet
looked into how your patch works to solve that.
