I am trying to use the following:
wireshark -k -i <(ssh XXXXXXXXXXX sudo tshark -w - not tcp port 22)

When wireshark has finished starting it throws a message stating:
"Unexpected error from select: Invalid argument"

This is very much like this old mailing list conversation:
http://www.mail-archive.com/wireshark-dev@xxxxxxxxxxxxx/msg16130.html

Using Mac OS X 10.6.4.
