I was able to recreate this behavior reliably using a simpler procedure, but
again with a display filter excluding some packets.
However, my Windows Vista is currently exhibiting the problem intermittently
(about 75% of the time) with NO capture or display filter in place, using both
the 32-bit Windows version of 1.4.0rc1 and the Portable Apps version.
