In the help for the Wireshark Lua API base for ProtoField.uint* is stated as:
base (optional)
One of base.DEC, base.HEX or base.OCT
where it should state:
base (optional)
One of base_DEC, base_HEX or base_OCT
i.e. the . should be an underscore, otherwise it is not possible to load the
.lua file and an error such as:
Lua: Error during loading:
[string "myluafile.lua"]:xxxx: attempt to index global 'base' (a nil value)
is returned
