Core files are not necessarily useful to somebody who isn't running the same
version of the same Linux distribution with the same binary version of
Wireshark as were on the machine where the crash occurred (which includes
machines not running Linux at all - and note that "same version" includes the
CPU type). The output of a more detailed look with GDB might be more useful.
(The result of "bt" alone would probably be useful.)
