Hello,

Hello,

When I try to read the contentns of pacekets sent by IP with Ethereal
Sniffer I always see that in the lower windows , when displaying
the IP addresses of src and reciever, the same addresses appear
also in parenthesis.

For examplle:

Frame 15...
Ethernet II
Internet Protocol,Src Addr: 192.168.0.56 (192.168.0.56), Dst Adr
192.168.0.13 (192.168.0.13).

What is he meaning of this ip addresses in parenthesis? are the always
the same as the non-parenthesis IP addreses?

Regards,
John
