I have a custom SNMP controlled appliance that I wish to view the variable names rather than the numeric oids.  I have net-snmp installed and have tried to modify the snmp.conf file to no avail.  I am running WinXP. I have also successfully built ethereal 0.10.11 on my system and have tried to figure out where I could modify the code to output the variable names instead of the numeric oids but have not had any luck.  Right now I am just looking for a quick answer. I would greatly appreciate any help.
