This seems to be a "feature" of windows XP. Is that the OS that you are seeing the issue with? I have notice several XP machines doing the same thing, and as of yet, have found no way to disable this behavior.

Has anyone seen this arp requests to an ip address 1 digit up from its
own ip address eg 10.0.0.1 is doing an arp for 10.0.0.2 when 10.0.2
doesn't exist. Have got about 5 machines doing this all the time. We run
a/v and spyware progs onthese machines but they have found nothing.
Anyone got any ideas ?

Phil
