Wireshark · Ethereal-users: [Ethereal-users] Ethereal install nt4

I'm trying to install Ethereal 0.9.7 on nt4.  I made sure that Ethereal, WinPcap, and WinDump were all uninstalled from my computer.  I installed WinPcap 2.3, packet.dll and wpcap.dll are in my system32 folder and WinPcap is listed in Add/Remove programs.  I downloaded WinDump 3.6.2 into my system32 folder.  I ran ethereal-setup-0.9.7.exe.  Ethereal is listed in Add/Remove programs.  I rebooted in between each installation just to be safe.  Ethereal starts up fine, but when I go to capture there are no interfaces listed.  I'm a complete newbie to this, so please be gently.  :)  Does anyone have any suggestions about what I'm doing wrong?  Your help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks in advance.
