hello,

i have been trying to install ethereal on my red hat 7.1 box for the last few days but i have been having dependency problems. i downloaded the following rpms but none seem to have the proper files:

ethereal-base-0.8.19-1.i386.rpm openssl-0.9.6-9.i386.rpm
ethereal-gnome-0.8.19-1.i386.rpm openssl-0.9.6b-7.i386.rpm
ethereal-gtk+-0.8.19-1.i386.rpm tcpdump-3.6.2
ethereal-usermode-0.8.19-1.i386.rpm tcpdump-3.6.2-7.i386.rpm
libpcap-0.6.2-7.i386.rpm tcpdump-3.6.2.tar
libpcap-0.6.2.tar.gz ucd-snmp-libs-4.2.1-5.i386.rpm
openssl-0.9.6-3.i386.rpm

even though i installed all of the above files except when dependencies or newer files on my system suggested not doing so, i still get the following errors when i attempt to install the ethereal-base rpm:

libcrypto.so.0 is needed by ethereal-base-0.8.19-1

libsnmp.so.0 is needed by ethereal-base-0.8.19-1

if anyone could help, i would appreciate it. i'm sure I just have the wrong files, if you could let me know where to find the correct libraries or tell me what other mistakes i have i would appreciate.

Thanks
