Yes, some Windows 3.1 applications did this....., W95 standardized
the Help menu location to be just the rightmost entry.

that? The screenshots for Windows XP on Microsoft's Web site for WXP show "Help" as just the rightmost menu entry rather than as an entry on the far right (as do screenshots for the current versions of KDE and GNOME, and as does the menu bar at the top of my screen at this moment).
