Somebody could, but I just checked in the changes myself.  They also
involved some fixes to "text2pcap.c" to let it build on MSVC++ (and some
of them, i.e. the ones removing GCCisms, may also have been necessary to
let it build on other non-GCC compilers; "__FUNCTION__" is not supported
by all C compilers, so either don't use it at all, or wrap it inside an
#ifdef that causes it to be used only on compilers that support it).
