Expert infos could be added under conditional compilation. If enabled it would allow to filter packets that has expert info set, in order to find out incomplete dissectors against a large set of data (eg. menagerie).

it, or dissect it as data, or...

You mean using g_log, don't you? Where those logs go? I'm not able to show them.
