Hi,
You mean restart i.s.o. recompile Wireshark. The answer is yes, you
need to restart Wireshark so that it can configure all dissectors
(plugin or not) and their relations.
What you can do 'on the fly' is add dissectors to conversations. Maybe
that can help you.
