I confirm the error when verifying the checksum (I'm about to push a fix for
this and created bug 12745 for this).

But I cannot reproduce the highlighting issue: for a given field the whole
packet is highlighted in orange and the field is highlighted in white. This
might be an issue with the GTK version you are using. On my side I use:
