Hi Alexis, Hi Wireshark Developer,

maybe my wording in this case was misleading. Let me describe my observations
about the visible/invisible cursor a little bit more details.

A) Goto Package
If I press Ctrl+G to jump to an specific package, a new UI element pops up (see
attachment "Goto Package (Ctrl+G) without cursor") and I can activate the
element clicking in it. There is no cursor visible even if the element is
active. Additionally the widget is in "overwrite mode" - you can only overwrite
existing characters and not inserting a new number between two already inserted
numbers.

The cursor will become visible if you move it with the cursor left or cursor
right keys.

Please use a more comfortable input widget for this numeric values.

B) Filter _expression_ menubar below the toolbar
The cursor is not visible if the widget is activated by a mouse click. The
cursor becomes partly visible if you move it with the left or right cursor keys
on you keyboard.

Details are shown in the two screenshots "Filter _expression_ with cursor" and
"Filter _expression_ without cursor"

It would be great if the cursor is always visible independent of it position.

Regards,
Carsten
