In general, it's best *not* to attach tarballs (compressed or otherwise),
zipballs (compressed or otherwise), etc, as that makes it more work for others
to get at the attachments.

It's especially true for patches, given that if a patch is made into a single
attachment and marked as such, then Bugzilla will:

    offer an option to see the patch as a difference between the pre-patch and
post-patch source code;

    let the patch be marked for review, which should be done for all patches.
