Well, I did a test using 0.99.2 (Gtk-Wimp) on Windows 2000: I starting
capturing into multiple 10 Mb files using a ring buffer of only 2 files;
Wireshark was just updating the percentages window (packet list was static
because I did not have "Update packets in real time" checked). I let that run
all morning. It ran to the 11th capture file and no sign of a crash nor of
increased memory consumption...

If you still see that problem, is there a way to get better diagnostics out of
the crash? (Sorry, I know virtually nothing about Windows.)
