Hello,

A1: If this setting is set to "Yes" every line in a table or tree gets an
alternating background color. This becomes visible in the pane containing
the packet details, in the preferences dialog, in several statistics
views. It's only a visual aid to read these tables and lists.

A2: When using the option Find Packet the search will start at the
currently selected packet. When searching forward it will either stop the
search at the end of the packet list, or continue at the start of the
packet list until the selected packet. This is dependant of this setting.
