This is what it looks on my system:
jmayer@egg:~/work/ethereal/infos/extreme> rpm -qa | grep glib2
glib2-devel-2.7.2-3
glib2-2.7.2-3

So maybe you have a glib2-devel package of 2.7.2 and glib2 of 2.6.5?
