I started collecting some screenshots...  
As I was doing that and specifying the full path to the file I noticed
that there are spaces in the path name - usually this is no problem but
I thought I try a folder with no spaces in the path c:\capture\....

That worked without a hitch.  Seems then that it's the space in the path
that is causing the problem.

Yes, there were reported problems of these kind.

I've did a major rework of the capturing engine (as it shows some
"age"), but unfortunately introducing new bugs :-(

Someone reported before that using an absolute path for the capture file
name solved his problem.

Could you provide a screen shot of the capture options and one of the
error message?
