Wireshark · Ethereal-users: [Ethereal-users] Only seeing ping reply message

Hi, greetings all:

  I started to use ethereal today, and found a weird problem. I have two 
wireless boxes. One of them does ping, to a third machine via an access 
point, and another sniffs the airspace. I can ONLY see the ICMP ping 
(reply) messages, but not the requests.

  Both of the wireless cards work on the same channel. One is Orinoco Gold, 
another is Cisco Aironet. I use the Aironet card to do ping, and Orinoco 
card to sniff.

  Please kindly let me know what happens here. Thanks in advance.
