Wireshark · Ethereal-users: [Ethereal-users] Capture in only one direction (variation)

Hi,
I'm using Ethereal 0.9.1 with a Win2k SP2 router on a
Netgear MA101 USB 802.11b interface on the WAN side of
the W2k router. Monitoring the LAN interface (100bt
Ethernet) works just fine. On the WAN interface, I can
see both Ping Requests, and Replies on Pings from the
Win2k router. But, on Pings from the LAN side of the
Win2k router only replies are captured from Wan
interface.

Any hints on how to get both directions working? 

Or is it that the MA101 device driver does not support
a true promiscuous mode? (If this is so, I some
regrets purchasing the MA101!)
