Wireshark · Ethereal-users: [Ethereal-users] Ethereal 0.9.1 on Windows 2000 does not see packet.dll

Hello ethereal-users,

  I've just installed WinPCap 2.2 sucessfully and then Ethereal 0.9.1.
  However, Ethereal does not show any interface in the Capture dialog
  box.
  My current configuration is:
  Win2K Pro SP2 with Security Rollup package
  Realtek 8139a NIC
  
  Any ideas why that may be? Also, Under NT, I think you could see the
  packet driver listed either under the Service Control Panel Applet
  or the Devices, but on Win2k I cannot find it, why?
