John,

Did you installthe NDIS Packet capture driver as specified on the install
pages?

See: http://netgroup-serv.polito.it/winpcap/install/help/95.htm

This will tell you how to install the respective packet driver that is need
for Analyzer to run correctly...

-Roger

Subject: [ethereal-users] Win32 Ver - Source Machines Question.

Dear Sirs,

I downloaded the Win32 Version for
use on my Win95 Business Computer.

The program seems to work fine after
it does load in memory. But, it only reports the source
Port, Machine, etc. as 02-03-04-05-06-07 MAC
address or IP during a capture. Never a true reading.

I do not seem to get valid data in this regard.

Also, I downloaded the Italian Program called
"Analyzer" and this program does the same
thing.

Do you have any idea what I could be doing wrong
and why do I not seem to be able to get the data
from the "source" machines.

I run AOL for business reasons and use the
Network Ice firewall.

Sincerely,
John Sullivan
