I just compiled the latest svn version, and it works reading from a
pipe. So that issue is solved. Thank's a lot.

Which leaves only one issue on my list:

Can anybody recommend an ll encapsulation that can distinguish several
streams, the direction (in/out) and possibly an IP address? I saw that
the comming libpcap format standard has support for "flags", which can
specify the direction, but I assume that Ethereal cannot read that yet
(from a pipe)?
