I mean each item under figure 3.2. E.g., File: "... in whole or in part,

"Like" sounds too informal to me, and not right.  It's also ambiguous: 
it can mean "such as" or "for example", but it can also mean "in the 
same manner as" (which is nonsensical, of course -- ethernet addresses 
don't write data).
