For me it did not matter if I sshed into the or not.
After ldconfig it is gone in both cases.

What is the result of
ssh -V
on the client side.

Best regards
Michael

Ethereal is fully functional except when I want to save the
capture to a file and click on the 'Save' button of the
Ethereal Save Window it crashes with the error message
Gdk-ERROR **: BadWindow (invalid Window parameter)
 serial 131475 error_code 3 request_code 15 minor_code 0

I've checked the same on my Win32 build and didn't get any problems.
Does anyone else on RedHat using GTK1 has the same problems?

I see the same problem on RHEL/2.1, RHEL/3.0, and RH 7.1.

BTW, this problem only occurs when I ssh into the RH/RHEL boxes.

The problem also occurs on
  AIX 4.3.3, 5.x
  HP-UX 10.20, 11.x
  IRIX 6.5
  Solaris 2.x
