They're actually under what most would consider a "modified BSD style
license".  This means it doesn't have the advertising clause.  Their
license isn't incompatible with the OpenSSL license.

Looks like they're right.  This is a classic case where A can link
against B and B can link against C, but that doesn't mean A can link
against C.

That said, it looks like the Ethereal group cannot ship a product that
makes use of the Net-SNMP library if it includes the SSL support.
