yes,   i think that would be useful as well.

ethereal, as being a packet analyzer,  shouldbe able to tell you what each
and every single bit
in the packet means.

for those that dont care about the low level details of xER  we could have a
flag such as
currently the per support routines have  that would hide the boring low
level stuff for
those only interested in the higher layers.
